Short description of the study programme

The aim of the study is to train logistics engineers, who will be able to maintain and operate corporate logistics and good transportation systems. They will know modern supply chains and networks, their management and organizational basics, and transport control processes and workflows. Related logistics control and IT systems basics are also acquired. Furthermore they will be able to join to developing logistics systems related machines and tools. The students will also be able to deal with complex logistics systems modeling and optimization, they understand operation and planning principles of corporate logistics systems, distribution networks and supply chains. the students will also be prepared to manage leading tasks, to creatively participate in R&D related problem, and continue their studies later on our PhD programme.

Minimum requirements

  • diploma of BSc in engineering fields
  • document of English language proficiency;
  • successful admission exam

In special cases (e.g. inability to take exams due to international sanctions, unavailability of service, etc.) exceptional permission has to be requested in advance for internal (BME) English language test.

Steps:
- preevaluation of the submitted documents: quality of BSc diploma, quality of BSc transcript, obtained credits; additional evaluated aspects: quality of motivation letter, recommendation letter (if available), extra-curricular activities (e.g. involvement in education, research, publication activitites, technical contests, additional language knowledge, etc.)
- result of pre-evaluation: admission to MSc programme / electronic interview / admission rejected
- electronic interview (via internet) if required: evaluation of language skills (the interview is in English), motivation, attitude, technical preparedness
