A Live, Interactive and Free Guide to Grants and AI Tools
2025. 10. 01.Innovation & Grant Day, held on October 9 for researchers and educators, helps navigate the EU grant system and contributes to the implementation of successful projects.
On October 9, BME will host Innovation & Grant Day, an event designed to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of EU funding opportunities, along with practical knowledge and tools for planning, writing, and implementing research and innovation projects.
Organized with the support of InnovacyBridge, Twinnovation, Acceler8, and EIT Urban Mobility, the event offers educators, researchers, project managers, and innovation professionals guidance and hands-on experience on how to effectively use artificial intelligence tools in grant writing and project administration, how to map the most relevant EU resources, and how to create successful partnerships between research groups and international stakeholders.
Morning sessions will focus on the practical use of AI tools and access to EU funding opportunities, followed by key insights into building strategic partnerships.
Afternoon sessions, however, will feature interactive consultations and concept development support for researchers and research groups preparing grant proposals.
Later in the day, the Startup Opportunities Night will provide startups and members of the innovation ecosystem with insights into funding opportunities, networking programs, and AI-based tools. Participants will learn how to connect to the EIT network and identify the most relevant calls and programs for their business.
International expert speakers include Michal Zilberberg, CEO of Twinnovation, Yalin Gülbahar, strategic advisor at Twinnovation, Gonca Kara, head of ecosystems at Acceler8, Ákos Dervalics, managing partner of Green Brother, and László Csíki, startup director at the Hungarian Innovation Agency.
