BME launches joint educational program with one of the world's largest nuclear companies

Framatome, of France, already has a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Energy.

BME and Framatome, a company specializing in nuclear energy technology, have signed a letter of intent to enhance cooperation in the field of nuclear education and training. The agreement was signed by Attila Aszódi, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at BME, and Camille Grout, Vice President of Human Resources at Framatome, at the World Nuclear Exhibition, an industry expo held in Paris in November.

France's Framatome is one of the largest players in the world in the nuclear industry. The aim of the partnership is to develop joint initiatives in the field of nuclear engineering education, strengthen technical knowledge in line with industry needs, and increase the attractiveness of careers in this field among younger generations. The cooperation contributes to the implementation of the joint objectives of the memorandum of understanding signed by Framatome and the Hungarian Ministry of Energy in September 2023.
