Swiss-Hungarian academic ties are being strengthened at the university.

Rector Hassan Charaf recently welcomed Alexander Renggli, Switzerland's Ambassador to Hungary, to BME to discuss the university's strategic renewal and the deepening of its international cooperation.

This partnership is particularly important as both BME and ZHAW (Zurich University of Applied Sciences) are active members of the European university alliance EELISA. This common platform opens up new opportunities for Swiss-Hungarian higher education cooperation and can help provide BME students and researchers with competitive knowledge and international experience.
