2026. 04. 16.The most competent people on the subject, the staff of the EU Representation in Budapest, will be on hand to answer your questions.
Europe Day will take place on May 7 in Building Q (2 Magyar tudósok körútja) at BME. The programmes will cover the operation of the EU, the European Parliament’s youth programmes, and the opportunities available to young people within the EU.
Starting after 10 AM, staff from the European Commission’s Representation in Hungary will kick off the event with interactive presentations in Room QAF16. Later, a quiz and a prize draw will follow, continuing until 4 PM. To participate, you must register by May 4 here.
There are also plans to organize a visit to the Europa Experience Center (8 Szervita tér), where participants can learn about the daily life of an MEP through a workshop and role-playing activity. A separate registration is required here.
Europe Day is a side event of the BME Erasmus Staff Week taking place that same week, where 27 staff members from 22 European universities in 9 countries will spend a week at BME. In addition to getting to know the host institution, they will participate in a workshop on the use of artificial intelligence and share their experiences regarding the EELISA university alliance and international mobility opportunities.
