The global and European trends of Open Science changed rapidly in the past decades. We provide an insight to the Hungarian situation: how university libraries reacted and quickly began educating librarians to become key persons of the different aspects of the scholarly communications. We will discuss what librarians do to raise awareness and keep their knowledge up-to-date regarding Open Science, also how repositories are supported by the operation of the Hungarian Open Repositories Working Group.
