BME is the First to Launch Aerospace and Construction IT Engineering MSc Programmes in Hungary

BME's master's degree programmes establish expertise with a high value in the international labour market and with the ability to meet future challenges.

BME expects the popularity of the field of technology and IT training to increase further: as of September 2022, it will also launch master's degree programmes in Aerosapece and Construction IT Engineering to educate specialised professionals.

The Aerospace Engineering MSc programme collaborates with five faculties of the university. Students can engage in space projects either at the university or with industry partners. The students can use the acquired knowledge in domestic and international space sectors, and those who excel in research can even continue their studies on a PhD training.

BME fills a gap with the English-language Construction IT Engineering MSc programme that focuses on digitalisation in the construction industry. Students graduating here will be able to solve the challenges of the built environment and facilities that require IT and civil engineering knowledge.

"We expect that in 2022, in addition to business programmes, the number of applicants choosing Engineering and IT majors will also increase. Moreover, we expect growth in the field of Science as well. We train specialists in each faculty at BME, who will have the knowledge and skills to solve the problems of their age not only now, but also in ten or twenty years" – concluded Péter Bihari, Vice-Rector of Education at BME.

Applicants will also get information about the new MSc programmes on the BME Online Open Days from November 26, 2021.
