Cusumano joins BME’s International Scientific Advisory Board

Michael A. Cusumano, professor at the Sloan School of Management at MIT and a leading expert in innovation-driven entrepreneurial ecosystems, delivered a lecture titled “GenAI as a New Applications Platform” to a full house at BME on 29 May. 

Focusing on the latest developments in generative artificial intelligence, Professor Cusumano explored GenAI’s emerging role as an application platform, along with its business and technological implications.

The lecture marked the beginning of a long-term collaboration between BME and Professor Cusumano. At the invitation of Rector Hassan Charaf, he becomes the first world-renowned academic to join BME’s new International Scientific Advisory Board. The Board, to be formally inaugurated later this year, will serve a strategic advisory function in shaping the university’s academic and research directions, with a strong emphasis on international scientific excellence and innovation.
