For years, BME’s master training programmes have been attracting the most cross-term applicants. This year, 7 of BME’s 8 faculties announce a total of 33 state-financed and 33 self-funded academic programmes.

The MIT Technology Review published the profile of Gábor Domokos, a professor of BME.

The largest publisher of rankings has now released all complex global rankings in higher education. Of universities in Hungary, BME is among the best in all three rankings.

The relationship between BME and the research group of Ferenc Krausz varies in intensity, but is continuous, said Péter Richter, professor and former lecturer of the Nobel Prize laureate.

Balázs Vince Nagy, an instructor at BME’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering has been elected as president of SEFI, the European Society for Engineering Education.

The new Nobel laureate in physics, Ferenc Krausz, is an honorary doctorate of the BME, having graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics in 1985.
