Applications to BME for International Students are Now Open!

International applicants can choose from over 50 English-language degree programmes in engineering, natural sciences, economics, and management.
Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) is now accepting applications from international students for the 2026–27 academic year. Prospective students can apply for preparatory, BSc, MSc, and doctoral programmes from 1 April to 15 May 2026.
Applicants can choose from over 50 English-language degree programmes across engineering, natural sciences, economics, and management. Detailed programme descriptions provide information on fields of study, career opportunities, and more. We also recommend reviewing the admission criteria, tuition fees, FAQ, language requirements, and available scholarships.
If you have already selected your programme, please visit the e-admission portal at e-admission.bme.hu. For BSc programmes, an entrance exam is part of the selection process. Sample practice tests are available on the portal to help applicants prepare.
